How to inquire / order membrane switches or nameplates manufacture:

If you want us to work out a quotation for a membrane switch or a nameplate manufacture expeditiously and accurately, please provide us with all the necessary information. It is recommended that you download and save Membrane Switch Specification or Membrane Nameplate Specification forms on your PC, fill out the required data, and send the form by e-mail in the attachment.

To calculate the price, and after that construct a membrane switch or nameplate, we need you to provide us with complete graphical, functional, and dimensional data. You can submit the data in an electronic file, or as hard copy blueprints.

Identify colours by using PRÖLL, RAL, or PANTONE (Pantone Matching System) colour numbers.

Providing information in electronic files:

CorelDraw (5 - 11) files, or as an alternate, AutoCad files
Data transfer: preferably by e-mail, or on CD, DVD or a floppy disk
The data must include a drawing with the main dimensions, including tolerances
It is necessary to convert texts into curves, or include used fonts

Providing information in form of a hard copy blueprints:

It is necessary to mark and show the dimensions of the following on the drawing:
- Mechanical dimensions and corner radii
- Position, size and shape of keys
- Position and size of LED- and LCD-windows
- Position and shape of cutouts
- Width of used lines and borders
- Position, array and length of flex-tails
- Pinouts, marking the first and the last contact on the flex-tail
- Position and size of legends, symbols, logos and digits
- Position and connection of LEDs
- Position and size of legend pockets
- Other pertinent dimensions
Scaled-up logos and special symbols can be printed in black on a matt surface, or directly on a film

Calculation of prices of membrane switches and nameplates

(The under-mentioned prices are only rough ones. Always ask the manufacturer for an exact quotation. The prices are without VAT.)

The price of custom membrane switches (nameplates) covers the following costs:

Start-up costs:
- Design and engineering (drawings and negatives): :
  - 5 to 15 thousand CZK
- Cutting tools (type dependant): :
  - 8 to 20 thousand CZK (membrane switches)
  - 3 to 8 thousand CZK (membrane nameplates)
- Embossing tools (type dependant):
  - 3 to 15 thousand CZK
Costs of production:
- Material costs
- Operating costs

It is not possible to quantify costs of production generally. These costs directly depend on such factors as batch size, number of colours, design and size of the membrane switch (nameplate). Please ask the manufacturer for a calculation of the price of the particular membrane switch (nameplate).
